Assistant Property Manager


FUNCTION:
Assists in the day-to-day operational responsibilities of a large apartment community, including financial management, marketing, customer service and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities:
(including, but not limited to)

Financial
Handle Recordkeeping and Reporting Responsibilities on a Daily, Weekly and Monthly Basis
Maintain Purchase Order, Order Tracking and Invoice System.
Ensure Timely Rental Payments, Daily Check Scanning, and Daily Deposits
Handle 3 Day Notices, Petitions and Evictions through the attorney as required on delinquent rent
Handle all bookkeeping A/R functions
Operational
Assist with customer service and resident relations
Assist with service department practices to include ensuring service requests are completed in a timely manner, move-outs are inspected and charges applied appropriately, Apartments are being prepped within correct time frames and up to quality standards
Able to fill in for the Property Manager

QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in property, apartment, hotel, hospitality, or customer service management
Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable codes, laws and regulations (OSHA, EPA, ADA, Fair Housing, EEO)
Experience operating computer systems for property and/or hotel operations, logistics, finance, and inventory (Yardi preferred)
Directing human resources activities including employee relations, scheduling and staffing
Bachelors Degree (Strongly Preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
