o Experience in networking with, and attracting, and sourcing a diverse candidate pool.

o BA/BS preferred

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Recruiter is responsible for providing the highest level of recruitment services to business operations leaders and associates with a focus on Tyco Fire Protection Products (Customer Service and Manufacturing Operations).

This position delivers high quality professional and managerial candidates while guiding the hiring manager and candidates through the selection process.

This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, suppliers and the community at large.

Scope may include working with suppliers who provide candidates or services through any or all parts of the staffing process.
This position will also be required to lead staffing projects to improve staffing processes, vendor relations, extensive sourcing through Social Media channels.

Creativity, strong assessment skills, working successfully with long-term strategic objectives, business acumen and high personal productivity are required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

o Partner with internal clients to assist them with all recruitment needs (sourcing strategy, developing job descriptions, sourcing, interviewing, candidate closing and negotiations,
o Manage the entire life cycle of the recruiting process with minimal managerial guidance.

o Provide complete, accurate and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.

o Consult with internal clients on recruitment issues, interviewing techniques, hiring decisions and market data.

o Build a pipeline of talented job seekers that fit the profile of the company's core competencies.

o Creatively source and network candidates to reduce fees to outside agencies.

o Build and execute a recruiting plan that focuses on attracting a diverse candidate pool.

o Manage the efforts of recruiting process outsourcing, contingency and retained search firms; setting expectations, negotiate SOWs and communicating the progress to the internal client.

o Manage and coordinate communications with candidates.

o Maintain all progress and status reports, communicating this to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

o Participate in project work as required.
o Seek continuous improvements to enhance the capabilities of the staffing team.

o Participate in departmental process improvement project work on an as-needed basis.

o The recruiter will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching more junior recruiters as needed during on-boarding and in honing their capabilities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
