In addition to doing technical training in a manufacturing shop, can you develop the training, plan the process - including certification requirements, and research additional outside courses that may help? Are you committed to helping increase the quality of people, processes, and products through training? Of course this means you have to be a fast dedicated learner too.
You are going to be providing training in the courses you support at the drop of a hat sometimes. Most of the time you will be setting up the schedule, including occasionally training all shifts.
You must be a real believer in the value of training and certification. Ideally an engineering degree would be best, but another degree and experience is acceptable. If you don't have any degree, you probably don't believe enough in training and certification to do this job.
