has an immediate opening for an entry level position for a PLASTICS LAB TECHNICIAN holding an Associates or BS degree in a science technology field.
This position will be located at the new Center for Vinyl Innovations in Lansdale, PA.
Responsibilities include:
Working closely with supervisory scientists to plan projects, perform required routine Plastics testing procedures, including preparation of test materials, measurement of properties and performance attributes, troubleshooting equipment, development of strong operating procedures and carefully following all safety procedures.
In addition, excellent computer aptitude required for collecting and interpreting data, using equipment software, accurate recording of all lab results and interpreting observations.
Some experience in polymer processing is a plus.
