This position requires some nights and weekends with overtime available.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with local schools, civic and community organizations to schedule educational presentations, and develop opportunities to participate in related events.
Create age-appropriate presentations that promote NPWA's mission, watershed protection, and water conservation.
Successfully represent NPWA at community events by developing water industry expertise and maintaining current knowledge of industry regulations and news.
Independently maintain a presentation, program, and contact database.
Work with team members to complete administrative and public relations related tasks.
Requirements & Skills Associate's degree in Public Relations required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Excellent written communication skills and the ability to create effective visual presentations.
Confident public speaker with the ability to cultivate professional relationships.
Organized and able to multi-task.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
